PDF Interleaver — Privacy Policy

How the PDF Interleaver app handles your information.

Effective: July 14, 2026 Last updated: July 14, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PromisingApps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PDF Interleaver mobile application (the "App") — com.promisingapps.pdfinterleaver.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App. Our other apps each have their own privacy policy; some of them share advertising-consent decisions with this App, as described under Advertising consent & consent syncing.

Your files stay on your device

We do not upload your documents. PDF Interleaver processes your PDFs, scanned documents, and images entirely on your device. Interleaving and merging pages, scanning documents, and cropping images are performed locally. Your source files and the files the App creates are never sent to us or to any server. Output files are saved only to your device's storage.

Document scanning (Google ML Kit Document Scanner) and image cropping run on-device. The App requests access to storage solely so you can pick the files you want to work on and save the results back to your device. This access is used on-device and is not used to collect or transmit your files.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or postal address to use the App. The information collected falls into the following categories:

Information you choose to provide

Information collected automatically

Our third-party partners (advertising and analytics providers, described below) may automatically collect:

How we use information

Advertising, analytics & other service providers

We use the following third parties. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Document scanning and image cropping use on-device Google libraries and do not send your documents to these services.

Where required (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before showing personalized ads or using certain identifiers. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from within the App.

Consent syncing across our apps. This App is part of a group of apps operated by PromisingApps. The advertising-consent decisions you make under European privacy regulations may be shared and synchronized across the apps in this group. If you set your consent preferences in one of these apps, that choice can be applied to the others — so you are shown fewer, more consistent consent prompts. Only consent decisions governed by European regulations are synced, and only across the apps listed below. Each of these apps has its own separate privacy policy.

Apps in this consent group:

Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases and subscriptions (for example, to remove ads). These transactions are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment-card details; Google processes payment and shares only the information needed to confirm and manage your purchase.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

Data retention

Files you process remain on your device under your control until you delete them; we never receive them. Data collected by our advertising and analytics partners is retained according to their respective policies.

Your rights & choices

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International data transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are carried out under appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this address. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App.
