App Permissions
Required to load ads, send crash reports, fetch remote config, search Pixabay for images, and download background photos from the CDN.
Reads images already saved to your gallery so they can be displayed in the Recent Creations strip.
Saves your finished quote images to the /Pictures/RapidQuotes/ folder on older Android versions.
Checks whether the device is online before attempting to download images or load ads.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
RapidQuotes displays interstitial ads powered by Google AdMob (Next-Gen GMA SDK). Before any ads are shown, the app displays a User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form required by Google. You can choose to receive personalised or non-personalised ads.
Google may use your Advertising ID and other signals to serve relevant ads. You can reset or opt out of personalised advertising at any time in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads.
Ads are shown at most once every 3 minutes (configurable via Firebase Remote Config). No ad is shown in the watermark editor, quotes browser, or settings screen.

In-App Purchases (Pro Plan)
RapidQuotes offers an optional Pro subscription processed entirely by Google Play Billing. The app receives a purchase token to verify your subscription status. We do not collect or store payment card details — all billing is handled by Google.

Third-Party Services
Data Storage & Retention
All data generated within the app is stored in one of two places:
- Your device's gallery — quote images you save (
/Pictures/RapidQuotes/). Deleted when you delete the files or uninstall the app. - App's private storage — preferences, recent quotes/colours, watermark files, template order. Cleared on app uninstall.
Data transmitted to third-party services (Google, Pixabay) is retained according to their respective policies. We do not operate our own servers and therefore do not independently retain any user data.
Children's Privacy
RapidQuotes is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
Your Rights & Choices
- Ad personalisation — opt out via Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation on your device.
- Consent withdrawal — the UMP consent form can be re-accessed; withdrawing consent switches the app to non-personalised ads.
- Data deletion — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. For data held by Google or Pixabay, contact those services directly.
- GDPR / CCPA — users in the EU and California have additional rights under those regulations. Contact us (below) to exercise them.
Security
We follow industry-standard practices to protect information processed by the app. All communication with third-party services (Google, Pixabay) uses HTTPS. Local data is stored in the app's sandboxed private storage, inaccessible to other apps without root access.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to using commercially acceptable means to protect your data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
