Xiaomi has a lot of loyal fans globally. But when it comes to their phone software, they are not as loyal to Xiaomi’s own MIUI as to the company. The Chinese giant posted a poll on twitter a few months back, asking fans to vote for MIUI vs Android One. Surprisingly, Android one managed to gather the majority of the votes ( 57% vs 43% for MIUI).
When MIUI introduced dual apps, people welcomed it just because it was never simple to use two Whatsapp or Skype accounts in same device. I personally use MIUI dual apps on my Redmi Note 3 and find it very convenient as I keep two Whatsapp accounts. One for my work and other for personal use.
If you are familiar with Xiaomi smartphones that are running MIUI android skin, you know what I am talking about. By default a wallpaper carousel is activated in MIUI which will keep rotating the lock screen wallpaper. The idea is to keep the user away from boredom by displaying fresh wallpapers instead of a permanent one.
Sometimes it is very convenient for us to keep our personal messages and notifications from being watched by others. In MIUI phones like Redmi Note 4, hiding sensitive content from lock screen notification is not provided as an option by default. But you can achieve private notifications by following some simple methods.
